I wonder if that bloke hanging around Parliament Square, who was monotonously shouting "Stop Brexit!" has finally decided to call it a day and go home?

The biggest loser of all was that Jo Swinson character from the Lib Dems. It's hard to imagine how she could have got it more wrong than she did.... well apart from Jeremy Corbyn that is. Why did everyone so underestimate the level of feeling about the result of the referendum?

Labour offered two choices in their second referendum promise. Staying in, or a deal that was to all intents and purposes, staying in. The option of actually leaving the EU was never on the table.

Labour still don't get it, even after their huge defeat, they are about to elect Kier Starmer as leader who was a major part of the problem for them. They totally misinterpreted the Brexit issue and now they are going to install an ardent Remainer as their leader.

I was not really shocked that Labour lost heavily. I actually predicted that back at the 2017 election.

I am sure our lives will go on pretty much the same as they have done for a while once we leave. At least until we get the next bit done.

It's hard to believe...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-51233003

It said sex in gay or straight civil partnerships "falls short of God's purpose for human beings".

How exactly do they know that it 'falls short of God's purpose for human beings' and who told them his 'purpose'?

I wonder who decided that if God exists, he/her/it was gender specific, or ever had a defined sexual orientation?

I really wish I could've voted as it's my generation who's going to be most affected by the choice of others. I just hope that they thought about young people more than themselves - not what they want but the best for the country as a whole.

I just don't know how much of what the leave party said would happen to the UK if we leave is actually going to be true. They managed to influence quite a large number of people with claims like "350m for NHS" which is almost certainly not going to happen.
