Serious discussion about the band known as QUEEN.

Now THIS IS unseen footage...

30 odd minutes of the making of Princes Of The Universe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ekd1Ly4nKeY

I don't know about anyone else on here, but I have never seen this before. Great to see Freddie/Queen clips like this!

Nope, never seen it before either.

Good stuff. Bet the people pushing that dolly at the front of the stage were knackered by the close of play that day!

Holy shit, that is the rarest thing I have EVER seen ! Simply fantastic!!

That particular video is so damn well made! Perfect scene for the movie. Impressive concept.

Incredible how Freddie practiced all the moves. They do re-takes all the time, and every time he puts so much energy into it.

This is sick! Seeing Christopher Lambert on the stage with a real sword from the movie, practicing the fight with Fred's microphone stand. These scenes are just incredible, almost too good to be true all this.. I am literally shocked that this clip has been around, and never before seen.

Check from 21:00 :

Lambert's sword hits Fred's microphone stand. You hear a "clink" sound and some part falls of the sword and onto the floor. Brian laughs and picks it up. Freddie says: "I told you this one wins" (meaning his mike stand). Epic!

I love the contrast between how macho and butch Freddie is when filming how the complete opposite of that he is between takes.

I feel the same way. The quality is quite wonderful, considering it is over 30 years old.

And to see Freddie looking so healthy and full of energy made me grin like the proverbial Cheshire cat. :)

Seeing rare things like this gives us old diehards hope that there is still stuff out there in Queenworld to discover.

Yup. He really could put on the act, couldn't he? The Great Pretender for sure.

I am going to watch this clip again on my TV and turn it up loud enough so that I can make out some of his dialogue.

Also, I love the way he just could not keep himself still (watch his fingers on his mike stand when he is waiting around).

Gives you an idea how loud the playback had to be, with all those bloody great big fans going on.

AWESOME! Just goes to show how there could be massive box sets for each studio l.p. made! They will need to re-record their songs with various artists over a number of years first though!
