Neither does not answering a direct question. If you can't refute the facts I laid out then you. Are defacto admitting they are correct.

Certainly not! You guys don't deserve a proper answer, because all you do is coming up with bullshit.

Wow. That's the best you have? I lay out facts and ask for a response and thats the best you can come up with... Speaks volumes. Thanks!

This comment from Brian also speaks volumes. It was transcribed and published for the 1986 Spring issue of the OIQFC magazine from a late 1982 BBC interview:

Brian May [1982] wrote:We approached that from from a different angle, with the idea of ruthlessly pruning it down to a coherent album rather than letting our flights of fancy lead us off into different ideas. The impetus came very largely from Freddie, who said that he thought we'd been diversifying so much that people didn't know what we were about anymore.

So if there's a theme to the album, it's rhythm and sparseness: never two notes played if one would do. Which is a hard discipline for us, because we tend to be quite over the top in the way we work. So the whole thing had a very economical feel to it, a very sparse feel and, for us, a very modern-sounding album.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger did not compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

So you're saying that comment from Dr May confirms the album was a new departure and unlike anything they'd done before?

True.

But he's talking about The Game. Here's the full transcript of that part:

------------

BBC Interviewer wrote:1980 saw a departure as far as Queen's records are concerned in the shape of The Game.

So the whole thing had a very economical feel to it, particularly Another One Bites the Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Dragon Attack, Suicide, a very sparse feel to all of them and, for us, a very modern-sounding album.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger did not compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Let me guess... hero and/or action will do one of these now:

A. Nothing ... they'll just sheepishly leave the thread (probably not now that I've mentioned it).
B. Accuse me of forgery.
C. Try to find a way to twist it and say 'even then... HS is more original.'
D. Claim Brian was wrong and they're right ('it was just PR' or something).
E. Go straight to personal attacks ('douche', 'get a life', you know the usual).
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger did not compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Is an entire side of The Game dedicated to funk/soul style music?

Is an entire side of any Queen album dedicated to a musical style they had previously only dabbled in?
