Queen+What was the Worst?

Serious discussion about the band known as QUEEN.

Just my opinion.

Live collaboration:
Queen + Anastacia (46664 The Concert, sometimes I like her voice, but this was screaming, not singing), Queen + Adam Lambert (I simply don’t like his voice at all) and Queen + Zucchero (Modena 2003, Zucchero is fine, but he was totally drunk!)

Studio collaboration:
Wyclef Jean, 5ive, Robbie Willliams (they all fall in the same category - after one listening not anymore, CD singles of those tracks should be used during Olympics in the discus throw)

Party At The Park I think the festival was? I'm not sure, but I remember recording it on good old video tape.
I didn't realise that it was on TOTP. I completely missed that until now. Wasn't it also performed on the Brit Awards?
Wow, that was nearly 20 years ago now

Actually, come to think of it, as terrible as Adam Lambert is at singing Queen songs, at least he's not boring...

Whereas most of the officially sanctioned remixes have been. Vanguard, Von Lichtenstein, whoever the bloody hell made that awful A Beautiful Day one for the 2005 tour... gawd, can we have someone decent remix this stuff, please? Just once?

Will Young... :lookround:

I actually like the Robbie Williams track. And the Pepsi thing (especially Brian and Roger's cameo). And the 5ive collaboration has grown on me.

Crazy Frog and the extensive promotion that got on the official website goes in the column "what were they thinking". The Wyclef remix (and its dreadful video) had no place on Greatest Hits/Flix 3, but it was a sound marketing decision (they tried to sell as much as they could), and probably it was out of the band's hands.

But yeah, there have been many turds over the past couple of decades. And just as many hidden gems.

My apologies Mr Trump - I had not noticed it was FAKE :P

I'll offer you a (few) drink(s) next time I come over to Bulgaria for the pain, anguish and waste of time you endured by having to see a non-existing and non-talented video.

forgiven?

For me it was the absolutely atrocious Jessie J which is my least favourite Queen+.

I think the worst project any of the Queen members have been involved with has to be Brian May and that god-awful badger song. Surely he could have come up with something better?
