Loudest Ever Crowd Ovation?

Serious discussion about the band known as QUEEN.

Loudest Ever Crowd Ovation?

Postby CoolCat27 » Sat Aug 11, 2018 1:16 am

There’s no way to answer this but was listening to Live at Wembley tonight and got me wondering what the loudest ovation Queen ever inspired. My guess would be when Champions wrapped at Live Aid...that roar gives me chills. But Queen played to larger crowds in South America. So maybe there? No way to know for sure. Just curious as to everyone’s thoughts.

The roar at Knebworth when the band took the stage to One Vision was amazing. I was there and it sent shivers. Wonderful

I agree with fosterol.

Listen to the beginning of One Vision on Live Magic. Although it was recorded at that gig, it still doesn't really give you the full impact of what it was like to be in the middle of it.

Still hoping that Knebworth eventually gets a full release, as they had it remastered, artwork done, and ready to put out a couple of years back, to coincide with Q+AL doing Sonisphere at Knebworth, but the gig was cancelled, and so was the release.
