My brother and I almost got hit by a speeding truck today. Mere centimeters naway, while we were halfway across a crosswalk. And people are blaming us

Thanks. No injuries, but I'm still shakenot up by it. I wish I got the plate number, but it was going way too fast.
Another annoying thing, some people are outright blaming me for me it, even though I didn't do anything wrong.
