These guys are great, anyway.

I checked the artists' websites and they both use different tools in Photoshop!! :)

That magic program... :inlove:
Wish I could use it better than I do at the moment! But even If I did, I surely wouldn't be able to do something like that!
I mean, you must have great skills to draw and paint like that, even if it's just a virtual thing

Do you think something like that is more or less valuable than a real painting or drawing? I mean, when you do something by hand you use real tools and real paint, and you have to have some skills for that, but working with Photoshop (and especially painting by using Photoshop) needs other kinds of skills and I'm sure it's very difficult too. I'm not criticizing, I'm just wondering because I'm very interested in these things...
I personally think that this is some kind of new art and deserves a lot of respect. It's different from traditional art and traditional tools but it's equally beautiful...In other ways and for other reasons :) What's your opinion?

Well, I think that drawing something
by hand and drawing like this are both hard......
And, I don't think that what we call 'traditional art'
actually exsists. Art developes every day,
and there are many kinds of art......
And everyone has his one unique style
when it comes to art......
But, anyway, I think that special skills are
required for both types of drawing-by hand or virtual-
and I wouldn't compare them :)

Yes, I agree with you on the fact that it's very difficult to define 'traditional art'. But I meant to say that every kind of art (modern or not) was made by hand before Photoshop or things like that...I used the word 'traditional' because it was made by using 'traditional' tools...You know, brushes, pencils and real paint. Now many things are virtual but it's still art, somehow. :)

I'm not sure about it...
You see, I haven't been drawing so much since I've started the university...I don't have the time. But I'm not sad, it's just something that happened :)
Ops, are we going off topic? :nervous:

A bit, but I don't think
that that's something bad!
And we're not completely off
topic....
We're talking about drawing Queen
stuff, right? :P

I think we're in the right board section because we're talking about Queen drawings, but we're in the wrong thread because the original topics were speed painting and Photoshop! well, I hope it's not a problem...
