If you watch from 9:35 you will see Freddie being asked if his friendship with Hungary will last as long as Queen will last...

- Freddie gets a strange expression in his face and answers: If I am still alive I will come back.

Seems to me he was thinking of his illness already then, and nobody knew.

Yes it has been pointed our before that Freddie probably knew he had AIDS during the Magic tour, even though it wasn't confirmed until 1987:

- saying 'if I'm alive I'll come back' in Hungary
- saying 'we're going to stick together until we f**king well die' at most Magic tour gigs
- never saying something like 'see you next time' at the end as he had on previous tours
- before the Madrid gig there was a fight backstage when Freddie announced he 'won't be doing this anymore'

True.. it seems to be a pattern in what he said during
the magic tour. I also heard a radio interview, I think it was from 1989; Fred was asked if Queen would continue 20 more years. Then he answered, laughing madly; God, I think I will be dead long before that hahaha ... God, do you think that YOU are alive 20 years from now? Hahaha... Something like that..

Hadn't heard that one before. Christ he was only 44 in 1989 and would have been expected to reach 64 easily. He was basically telling people he would be dead soon... poor Freddie :(

I will see if I can find it again, and will post it here if I do find it..

Here it is:

The interview is from 1987. Watch from 8:04 ...

The interviewer asks if he is worried to end up lonely, rich and old when he is 70.
