Oh. So this is the case with the "46664" recordings.

Talk about Queen's live performances.

Oh. So this is the case with the "46664" recordings. They are live. Not studio recordings. I've never heard the songs and there seem to be some sort of confusion over what the deal was over the past decade. I don't think that there is any source that explains this related to a Queen website or Wikipedia.com or what have you. Maybe I had been told all of this time and missed the answer or forgot BUT I think it has taken me close a decade figuring this out. In PARTICULAR as to whether or not the tracks on it are studio recordings or live from the concert itself. I'm taking what I am seeing in terms of the track listings in various places of the internet that these four releases are of only live content on them. Nothing that would constitute as studio recordings. I think the main issue here with this was (at least for me and I don't think anyone who responded really knew themselves) and that was whether or not there was a studio recording released of Roger singing "Say It's Not True" by himself from one of the "46664" concert releases. Hmm...interesting.

The released tracks are live, the studio versions have never been released.

Ahmm weeman

Invincible Hope was, and it was then remixed for a later release.

The Call was also if you view calling a telephone number to listen to it as being an actual release. I thought Say Its Not True had an official release too although might be wrong there (and no not including solo, Beck or Rogers versions).
Whats the story? Morning Glory?

Why haven't they released them? I can only guess our money, our sympathy they really don't need.

I wasn't aware of the downloads. Seems that Invincible Hope and Amandla were released but not the others:

Thank the lord that The call was never released! Possibly the worst song they have ever done. Truly, truly awful.

I second that. On yt you will find a decent studio version. Amandla sounded great as well. A shame that these songs were not officially released. So as you can see: The cause was all "charity" or for other good purposes but i guess greedy managers or other business stuff were the reason for it dusting in the vaults.
