Live at the Marquee Club 1972

Sorry if I am rehashing an old topic, but would anyone know if Brian or QPL actually has a recording from this very early show (20 December 1972)?

Every so often you hear rumours and possibilities of a real bootleg surfacing but they always turn out to be fakes. On other forums no one seems to be sure. It would be nice to know if it really exists or not, either way. As long as we know.

Clearly no one who has or knows anything is saying anything.

According to this site there is a copy in existence held by QPL. It's remained well and truly under the radar so if there is a bootleg, it will be owned only by some uber fan(s) for private use and never duplicated or made available online.

With it being such a prestige gig, it's very likely it was recorded, if only by John Harris. But as it stands the earliest (unofficially) available live gig is still Golders Green 1973, which can be found on youtube and elsewhere.

There are some great photos of this show at has some great details about this show including setlists for this early show.

Recordings of this show exist, but are in the hands of collectors, owned by Queen Production or by Brian May. There are a rumours that it was filmed by Trident, whether it's true or not - it's unknown. (However, it may be likely as Trident filmed the Rainbow Show in 1974).

Could there have been any other shows filmed or recorded. There are rumours that Queen soundman (John Harris, at the time) recorded these early shows and are in his collection or in Brian's.
