I love how the 1982 tour lighting rig had the colors of their album Hot Space.

Looking back, my favourite was the Crown lighting rig from 77/78.

Loved the way it started off covering the stage, and then rose to operating height, during We Will Rock You.

I was at Milton Keynes and the fact that there was no backdrop behind the band meant that you literally saw daylight (and the sunset) behind the band, rendering the otherwise impressive lighting rig pretty redundant until much later in the set. It possibly doesn't come across so much on the televised footage/DVD, but at the time it was rather noticeable. Not a bad gig though, all the same...

I loved the Pizza Oven during the Crazy Tour, and the spots under Rogers drum riser were always used to incredible effect.

Henry, here's one for you then. This one is from the first Sydney gig in August this year. I walked in to have a look as the door to the arena was clearly unlocked. I just wanted to have a look at the arena as I'd never been there before. It took me a few moments to realise the fella walking about on stage was Brian! He was testing his selfie stick, as he was about to try the video feature of it later in the show.

I got to watch him for about 2mins as he was just there being himself in his casual gear and glasses. Then one of the security fellas saw me and asked me to pop out until the doors were meant to open 15mins later!
