What song is requested here?

Postby princessotheuniverse » Wed Apr 13, 2016 12:50 pm

Dear all,
I recently read Peter Hince's book. One story he tells in the beginning is about a shhow where a member of the audience requests an early, rarely played song. To which Freddie replies something like "Then you would be happy" (I read the German version).

Is it known what song is requested here and at what show that was?

Best regards,
Princess of the Universe

Stab in the dark....

Doing Alright?
What is left of your dream?
Just the words on your stone.
A man who learnt how to teach,
But forgot how to learn.

Possibly "Doin Alright". But I was wondering if any of you knowledgeble people came across an audience recording of that event. As I said, Peter Hince wrote about that in his book and he says that Freddie's reply became some sort of saying in the band and road crew.
