The Best Live WWRY Solo

Talk about Queen's live performances.

The Best Live WWRY Solo

Postby The Robin » Sun Sep 12, 2010 12:04 pm

I've become nearly addicted to listening to the end solos of We Will Rock You. Now I'm wondering, what do you think are the best ones, or is THE best one?

For me, I'm stuck on the solo from Queen On Fire: Live At The Bowl. And actually, is probably my favorite performance of the song live.

The Wembley solo was pretty good, I thought.

Am I the only one, who heard some of the chords used on that particular night in "Rollin' Over"?

For me, Cardiff 2005, Brian was stood at the end of the catwalk about 6 foot away from me.

I watched his hands as he played the solo, completely spellbound. Seeing that after growing up with the song, was a special evening.

Not interested in any recordings of other shows, seeing it live so close can never be replaced as a perfect musica moment.

The solos didnt really vary unless Brian made a mistake obviously, but as far as the whole song is concerned this is one of my favourites

I have always thought that the end solo is amonst always the same. it's the beginning one where he was changed it through the years.

My fav is the Wembley 86 one where he plays the sustained chords - lets the RS feedback perfectly then goes into the main riff! Love it!
It's better to burn out - than to fade away!
