I was actually about 30 metres from the bar and then got a call, I had to sort some ticket issue, shame I was looking forward to saying hi.

R-F-M made an excellent point about Queen fans and alcohol, which I then went on to prove. There have been many times in my life when I have felt healthier than I feel right now. My head hurts.

Fantastic show though. Three hours to recover....with a Domino's pizza and some sugar free RIbena.

I had intended going back to the Distillers' after the show but my hotel was central (should have got somewhere closer) and I was knackered so wiselybmade my way there. Having said that I did after a quick one before going back to the room. Good to see the few of you that were there, hope you enjoyed the gig as much as I did!

I too feel like shit. There needs to be a 12 step program for Queen fans.

Step 1 is DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL!!!!!

R-F-M and Pi3rre, lovely to meet you! Lovely to see you again too, play it cool. :-D

What an amazing show. Me and my Paul Rodgers tattoo half didn't want it to be, but Lambert blew my mind, the entire show was breathtaking. :D

Thanks Belle, so nice to chat with you again. I'm glad you enjoyed it - it shouldn't take anything away from the Q&PR gigs you enjoyed, but this was something different altogether!

Oh no, I really don't think they could have toured with Adam in 2005. They were right about Paul then and they're right about Adam now. I didn't think I was going to like him, but I was sure they wouldn't be touring even a small tour, without good reason. Turns out they had very good reason, it was stunning!

Did you enjoy it?

I thought it was electric - I don't know what the atmosphere was like downstairs but it was amazing upstairs, once a few grumps realised they'd be standing! It felt much more like a 'Queen' gig; Brian in a kimono, pizza oven Mk II lighting rig, and a frontman that really got the crowd going - fair play to him. Good too to see quite a few younger fans in the audience. And nice to see some older songs back in the setlist although my only gripe would be that it was a song or two shorter than the Q&PR tours, and I would have liked a couple more album tracks. It's a great production though; should they be tempted to do a longer tour I'd definitely be going again. :)
