That's really not what causes it. It's the "Remember-Me Authentication" and "Remember Me Login Keys" in your User Control Panel.

I don’t know what caused it but I know how I got back on. I don’t use remember me. All I know is that I would type my password in and it would say that it was wrong. It’s been doing that for awhile now. I know for a fact that it was right but it would tell me it was wrong. After trying a few times it kicked me out and said I would have to get recaptcha verified too. Unfortunately it would keep saying that it couldn’t connect to recaptcha and that I should check my connection and try again. I tried on several devices but it wouldn’t work. Requesting a password change was the only thing that worked for me.

I have been having the exact same problem when I try to log in with my mobile. Go up and look at your USER CONTROL PANEL, then click on PROFILE, then click Manage “Remember Me” login keys

I have at least 20 different IP addresses showing up in there!

I also bypassed the captcha and also changed my password and that still doesn't help. I just have to keep trying and it usually will let me stay on with the mobile for around 5 minutes then automatically logs me out. VERY annoying to say the least!

Apparently, it's a cookie overload problem. I had it a couple of weeks ago. I was advised to try and clear cookies for this site, and start again.

I think VPNs may be the problem - maybe.

I've actually just had this problem myself whilst trying to get into the admin panel to fix someone elses account for them which is ironic.

The "solution" (and yes I'm aware it's a ballache) is to click the "Forgotten password" link and go through the password reset process. I have no idea what has happened or why but this seems to resolve the issue and refresh the password hashes.

This is what worked for me. Unfortunately I had to figure it out myself and it took me a day to say fuck it, I’m going to reset my password.

The IP addresses are for places like Amazon.com, Inc., General Electric, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Halliburton Company and others plus my own actual ISP. What a load of huge companies!!! What on earth?!?!

What is going on with this board? I got logged out while on my phone and now no matter what I do, I can't get logged back in. I am not liking the idea of having to change my password every time I log in with the phone. Help!!!!

And I am not the only one!
