Boo..you cut my review that took me tons of strength to post lol.
But since I'm stubborn and I don't want it to get lost lost into the mess that is the AL thread I will re-post it here. I hope it's ok..:P

" Yes, me!. Ok, I wasn't sure whether I should post in here since you know new member and all that but I said what the h*ll, it can't hurt that much can it? Lol
First a quick intro. I was introduced to Queen's music as a kid during the late 80's by my older brother. In fact Freddie was the the first foreign singer that I've heard in my life (I'm not a native English speaker so bear with me..). The album was A Night At The Opera of course which includes my favorite Queen song ever (Death On Two Legs...plz don't shoot me..heh). Since then I got all the Queen and Freddie albums both in vinyl and cds and pretty much went to become a long-time Queen fan.
It's obvious that I haven't seen them perform live with Freddie since he died a few years later. I continued to follow them after his death, more loosely if I want to be honest mostly because new bands (and one in particular heh) grabbed my attention and swifted my focus from them. So when the Q+PR tours were announced I didn't try to get a ticket. The fact that they didn't play in my country didn't help either. But watching Brian and Roger play live was a big dream that I had to make it happen someday.
So, here is the tricky part. Yes, I do love Adam's voice. And I always wanted him to sing with Queen. But I was in fact skeptical about the concerts. Didn't know if he could fit or if he could even handle the songs well.
I bought tickets for the first 2 shows but after the 1st one I went ahead and bought a ticket for the last show too. (Huge thanks to the Queen fan from this forum who gave me the tickets for the 14th date). All 3 concerts were amazing. The 1st one was like an introduction, the 2nd was very emotional and the 3rd...well the 3rd was completely bonkers. Too many highlights for me to choose but here are some.
Bri singing LOML in the 2nd concert. Beautiful and emotional. Cried like a baby.
Adam singing WWTLF in the 3rd concert. The reaction from the crowd was overwhelming.
The Flash inro. It put the audience in a great mood instantly.
Dragon Attack. I just love this song. That's all.
The 2nd part of the show was really great in the 2 last concerts.
BoRap and every time Freddie was on the screen. Ready Freddie!!!!!
Neil's solo. Didn't expect that.
The light show. And the smoke. And Pyros! Yes I'm a s*cker for this stuff.
The energy on the stage. Especially in the last 2 concerts it was obvious that they had so much fun and that they were loving every minute of it.
The crowd. A big thank you to all the Queen fans that made all 3 concerts an absolute and total blast.
And lots more. I do have a few nipticks but I might post them in a dif post cause this one is way too long already.
Overall an amazing experience and one (3? heh) of the best concerts I've been in a long time.
Love.
Me."

I'm a newbie but have been lurking for a while. I saw two shows in Hammersmith and loved them. You know those rare moments when you realise you are incredibly happy? That's how it was then. It wasn't perfect - and please don't jump on me but I thought thes drum solo went on too long, I could sense the energy leaving the audience - but it was on the whole electrifying and a very good place to be on those two nights :onfire:

I agree with Bianca, it was definitely an amazing experience. I'd love to have seen all 3 shows too - but felt very lucky to see 2

Aww, that's lovely. Pretty much sums it up for me. How do you "thank" the poster?

I just came across this video today and thought it was extra stunning. Its a 4 cam mix in black & white. Breathtaking. IMO of course. :-)

Wow! That should be entered into the Grammys for Best Live Performance (if there is such a category).

It does seem that Brian has been quiet because he was sick on the last night of the gig and has been sick for about a week...

I've been a bit quiet since the end of our short Queen tour - because I came down with a horrible virus on that last night …. unfortunately Saturday night was a fog for me … my head felt like it was full of jelly … and then the next day when I woke up, it WAS full of jelly - and it has been ever since. Over a week later I'm still coughing up green gloop every few minutes … anyone have a cure? Or has anyone out there got the same thing? Where did it come from? And at what point do you give in, and take the antibiotics, which you KNOW will stop your body developing the immunity to beat off the damn virus next time it comes round? I feel like I might stop breathing if it gets any worse.

I know others have attributed his silence as something else...

Poor man! I hope he feels better soon. Actually, I hope he sees a doctor. I had something like that years ago, and the doctor said they worry when a patient is coughing up yellow or green phlegm.

Get better soon, Brian, and take care.
I know he won't see that.
I'm sad he is ill, whatever I was expecting news wise, it wasn't this.
