Brian hints at more live work with Lambert in 2013

Postby Michael Allred » Fri Jan 11, 2013 10:35 pm

If you check out the letters section of www.brianmay.com he responded to a fan who wanted more Queen+ AL shows with the following;

We don't have any plans to tour with Adam this year yet … but that may change !

I hope they do, fingers crossed for some US dates! Maybe an official release of their London concert(s) last summer (video AND CDs please)

Put me down for a big fat "no way in hell. Please."

The not having any plans yet is a good thing IMO :D, I'm hoping it stays that way.
Or what eiricd said above!

I think we all know where you stand on the issue, it's been stated numerous times.

I doubt we see any release of 2012 gigs, but I'd love to see some US dates in 2013!

They would be fools not to release those shows officially, Lambert's fan base in the US is rabid.

Not as much as you'd think. Trespassing didn't sell too well after the first week. Hasn't even sold what his first album did in a week...

I pray to God / Jim Beach / and whoever Roger takes advice from, that they don't release anything in order to tap into a potential adam lambert market.
the joke has been taken too far already

for the record; I've seen clips from the gigs they did, and I've seen them many times. and it's still shit. the guy belongs on a theatre stage, and shouldn't be let near a rock band

No Queen + Adam Lambert 2013 so far but........

Postby dazzag82 » Tue Jan 15, 2013 10:28 am

Anyone see the comment from Brian on his soapbox. Someone sent a letter about whether Queen will come to France this year and in particular wanted them to reunite with AL again.

Brian's response "We don't have any plans to tour with Adam this year yet … but that may change !"

Hope I can use this quote - link attached.....http://www.brianmay.com/brian/letters/letters.html

Your opinion of course, thankfully not one that everyone subscribes to.

So maybe you should change to header of this topic to "No Queen + Adam Lambert in 2013, for now"
There must be something you can say..?

Why? Brian hinted at it on his web site, the thread title as I originally posted accurately reflected that.
