Yes, it sounds really good but Queen doesn't appear on 'Not Bad Luck' :(

The Taylor's minisite on Soundcloud has a little mistake also. We have got 'Your Shoes' not 'Hole In My Shoe' !
So let's listen that song with our brillant Roger bv's !

I´m very impressed with this album! I strongly recommend everyone to give it at least one listen.

Roger´s vocals on Your Shoes are fantastic, as Brian´s on Way Down. Not to talk about T.Hawkins´ lead vocals throughout the entire album ..man, this guy can really sing !!!

After my first listening of Red Light Fever I played the Foo´s Hyde Park DVD, with Brian and Rog joining on TYMD, wich is sang by T. Hawkins and ... it´s the first time I firmly believe a stronger BM+RT+TH collaboration could lead to a very, very, very good album. You can notice from the first song in Red Light Fever - Not Bad Luck - that Taylor Hawkins not only loves Queen, but knows how to do Queen.

Hoping my fantasy of a Q+Taylor Hawkins album comes true, now I can´t wait for the "Taylors" gigs. I´ll pray for seeing them happening.

I have an advance copy of the cd and it sounds really good. I think it's a better effort then his first album. Of course it's great to hear vocals from Brian and Roger.... and the red special too!.

Here's an interview with Taylor Hawkins about the album... he talks in some depth about Brian and Roger's contributions.

The CD was available for preorder on Amazon all week for $14. Today, I saw that it was marked down to under $10. I went ahead and bought it (along with Fun in Space which I have for some reason never bought despite having all Roger's other solo albums). I figure for $10, it's worth giving it a listen.

And I've convinced my husband to take me to see their concert next month so I suppose it wouldn't be a bad thing to know at least a few of the songs they are going to play.

You won´t be disappointed, believe me. It is a great album and from first listening it will catch you. Many, many good songs in there, imo. Rog+Bri´s contributions are really great. Roger´s backing vocals on "Your Shoes" take you to the good old days and Brian´s on "Way Down" are pure Queen. There´s no official confirmation yet, but I do believe Brian also plays on "Dont´Have To Speak"; you´ll love that one, too.

a nice chap at QZ posted the details regarding Brian and Roger´s contributions as shown on the sleeve notes:

http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1226245/taylor-hawkyns-brian-roger.aspx?page=2

"According to the sleeve notes Brian plays guitar on Way Down and Don't Have to Speak. Roger provides backing vocals on Your Shoes. Brian receives the first writing credit on Way Down and Roger also receives a writing credit for Your Shoes. Unfortunately Roger doesn´t drum on any of the tracks."

Just "found" the album somewhere and I'm slowly getting addicted to it. I think I'm actually going to buy a hard copy of it.

It's really really good old fashioned Beatle type music. I could swear I heard George Harrison on there a couple of times.

Well, finally my rumours of Brian's contribution on Way Down and Roger's on Your Shoes have been confirmed.

I was listening the album yesterday and I think it's really Queen and Foo Fights soul there. Not Bad Luck, Your Shoes, Way Down and It's Over are my favourites.
