This one is a hidden gem, and I don't think it has been mentioned on this board before? I saw it today for the first time. And what an underrated vocalist Jimmy Nail is!

Does anyone know more about this rather rare collaboration?

If you like Jimmy's voice listen to ' Big River ' its all about his home town and how the Tyne river played such a big part, guitar is by another Geordie,(adopted, he was born in Glasgow but raised in Newcastle) Mark Knopfler.

At a similar time to this song, Roger also produced a song called 'Loving You' for Irish singer Feargal Sharkey. Arguably, it was just as good as the Jimmy Nail one.

But forgot how to learn.

And also did a song with Shakin' ' Shaky ' Stevens in the early 1990s.

Radio. Shaky featuring Roger Taylor.

The main difference was on that one he just played drums (got a credit on the label, but basically just played drums), on the others, he produced them AND played drums (and a few other things).
