I'm having a fucking irritating problem at the moment. I have two laptops- one, a Sony Vaio running Windows 7, which overheats in hot weather, so I'm resting it for a while- and an Asus, which is high-spec for gaming, and runs on Windows 8.1. The Vaio accesses my broadband router with no problems at all, but the Asus keeps dropping out every five minutes or so. It's not the ISP, I've used Inssider software to check the router channels and everything's running on the best setting it can, it' just the Asus, it doesn't seem to want to connect to the router. Is there something I can do with the control panel settings to fix this?

I think I found the solution myself... Link It seems that the power settings make the laptop want to cut off Internet access to save power, even when plugged in! This changes the settings to stop this happening. So far, so good...

I've been having that problem as well, and not only that, I cannot send messages or post comments in a thread, not even sure this will post.

Ok, this posted and the thread I want to post in is the Hero's "what's after this" topic. Tried everyway at least 6 times, and no dice. Then, all of the sudden everyone of my attempts went up. I deleted them all, but would like all the entries I deleted content from removed, they look stupid and are wasting space. Please??

Is there a simple way to convert WMA files to MP3 format? I lost my Windows phone and I am pretty sure my new LG phone will not play WMA files.

I found a page that says select the files you want to convert and then hit the convert button. But I cannot locate the convert button. :x

Try Freemake. They have a few useful tools:

http://www.freemake.com/downloads/

You need Audio Converter for this.

Make sure you do the advanced install and untick all the extras it tries to download and install.
