Europe's awesome. I visited five capitals for the first time last year: Rome, Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo. All wonderful in their individual ways. And this is what we don't want to be part of! Well I'll be fine, I'll wave at you getting cavity searched at customs and walk straight through with my EU passport.

I do have a British passport as well though, I'm not a fucking idiot. It's all fun and games using an Irish passport to pick up the ladies or to galavant around Europe taking the piss out of the Brits, but if I ever get into any serious trouble away from home I want to head straight to the British Embassy and demand Her Majesty's protection.

Rock U. He was an ambassador for Liverpool as the 2008 capital of culture. The show was Manchester, yes. Was Didymus there? I think he was, but hadn't been to the show itself, having been to see The Mighty Boosh or I Am Kloot or Shaun Of The Dead that night.

That's him! He seemed like a nice enough sort of a guy. Dids was there, but never went to the show, you're right.

It reminds me of the risks I have taken for this band! I have so often been wandering around strange cities at night looking for my hotel. :P I got approached in Toronto by a dishevelled sort of a guy asking for money at around 02:00, I had no coins, so just gave him the lowest denomination note I had, $10. Then I got lost in Cologne, that was really scary, I admit it, it wasn't nice being lost, late at night in a strange place!

How did you like Toronto?

Fantastic place, but very, very cold. It was like -10 walking around or something (and I think all the people were underground in the shops, 'cos it was deserted). That temperature here would stop the entire country. I went on to Niagara falls and it was white and iced up, it was sensational.

I met a girl from here and she was really kind to me. She took me for a meal with her husband and I sat next to her at the front of the WWRY premiere. I'm embarrassed to say that I can't remember her name.

Possibly, rings a bell.

Sometimes things happen so quickly in life and you realise that you could have done more yourself. I look back on that with regrets, because she was so nice.

Don't know how to make that bigger, just click the thumbnail. Did Brian say that he never coloured his hair? Really?

Canadian winters suck at times. Alberta where I live recently had wind chills of -40, simply put too fkn cold. Mother nature makes up for it, just today I saw a sun dog. The Northern Lights...literally breathtaking when I was lucky enough to see it 3 times.
Places in Alberta, I so would like to see. Banff, especially.
