Like the melt down you had about me in the Bowie memorial thread? Where you said all sorts about me, and that you were done with QOL?
Funny, eh.

Censorship and threats. Now my account will be deleted. :P

Censorship is very limited on here. We delete very little.

It's a shame we don't seem to be able to discuss current affairs without someone taking offence but then that's the nature of such boards.

Oh well. No one leaves here for good. They all come back sooner or later.

Well, I don't know what the hell was said to cause so much upset- all I saw was action's post, and I replied to it- then the thread got pulled, and I noticed some ugly stuff being stamped down on in ITTWWC, which may have been something to do with it, I don't know. I don't think anything I said had any cause for the thread-pull, and I got no PMs or snotagrams to that effect, and I'm buggered if I could see anything in action's post that could have provoked same- so in my case, this is a semi-boycott. There's something going on here below the surface that I'm not happy with, and as long as it stays there, I'm keeping my distance. Some parties may well see this as cause for celebration, but to be this is the death-knell of the board.

Now I wonder how long it'll take for this thread to get pulled...

we did try a thread where we explained why posts were deleted otr whatever but it caused more problems than it solved. I am more than happy to discuss things in private. Quite often that works.

Well let's not start arguing. As I said, it's not that hard to be tolerant of other's views.

Indeed Ace. When you post stuff I get what you are saying, even if I disagree with you. I think the other way is true.

Personally I don't mind shall I say heated debates. When things go beyond that is a whole other story. That rankles, because excuse my language, shit sticks here, depending on the person it's aimed at.
I can and I have put many things behind me here. Recent things though, kind of like the straw that broke the camels back. For the first time since late 2008, I don't think I can be where after thinking about it. I don't know if boycott is the right word, because nothing more I would like to discuss many topics with, even with the people I have had disagreements with. Too much water under the bridge I suppose.
While I'm here Ace, you gave me one of my favorite memories of QOL. Thanks so much for that :D. It's good to see you posting again as well :D.

Coming from you this is so laughable. You are the biggest stirrer on here, boy.

As for the rest of your post (which I have helpfully not included here, as it was bullshit as usual): you do not call the shots: we will all do and say as we wish. So, stop whining and find some positivity in your life, freckles! That a girl!

He does this quite often: barges on in with some nonsense, slags off someone, gets put in his place and then runs away back to mamma sulking. It is a predictable pattern. Speaks volumes. :)

What you state is true; but you are not taking into account what really causes all the problems on here: unfair moderation. If I disagree with anyone on here, I couldn't give a fuck - but what bothers me is the bias on this site; at the end of the day we should all be treated equally and the mods should remain impartial - that way, half these problems would not even exist.

I don't think that's the case on here. I used to run a small team of mods on a site years ago. To eliminate this problem it was suggested the mods moderate with that username and do not interact aside from these duties. They could of course post under an alias username that was only known as a 'normal' registered user.
It worked very well.
