New Year's resolutions for 2019

Do you have any, or is everything in your life already the way you want it to be?

Personally, I have several resolutions (or at least hopes) for this year:

1) Cut down on the sugar. I've already made some progress last year, but there's still more to do.

2) Learn how to have conversations. In Portuguese, Galician and/or Spanish. I'm terrible at conversations in my native language, but I hope it will be easier with the Iberian people. Either that, or I'll get depressed about spending two months abroad and achieving nothing. :sleepy:

3) Learn a new rhythm and play at the Notting Hill Carnival in August. :P Half an hour for the next six months should do it, that's what it took me with the previous rhythm... I've already got my flights booked to London. ;)

4) Learn how to approach women, and get in the dating scene.

It's not a lot, is it?

I did the cutting down on sugar thing last year. I lasted about one cup of tea. Ok, so I might live longer without sugar, but I really wouldn't want too. :P

This year, no resolutions. I'm just going to do whatever I want to do.

Just a question though...does anyone actually eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day?

Heard a great put down of one of the girls at work the other day (by another girl)...she said 'oh that slut, she thinks a strawberry flavoured condom is one of her 5 a day'. Ouch. :P

at 38 years old, I've achieved everything I ever wanted in life. every challenge has been met, even the hardest ones. I've achieved the unachieveable, so that's that.

where does one go from there?
Why stand on a silent platform?
