So it seems that not only was the repugnant Tupac Shakur such a low life that he sexually abused one of his fans, he was also racist:

Ugh.

I find it to be incredibly emotional.

Yep, same here; for me, I feel a huge sense of pride that Freddie's masterpiece lives on and I think what he would have made of it all if he had still been around - that gets me a little wet in the eyes for sure.

How utterly grotesque. Political correctness has caught up with Dr Who.

I don't have strong feelings either way about a female doctor. But, I do like Jodie Whitaker a lot, just from seeing her in Broadchurch.

I also wonder about the new show runner. I think of Dr. Who as comedy-adventure. Broadchurch was neither of those things. I hope the show doesn't become too solemn.

If she is the best for the role then so be it. I don't watch it so am not bothered.

She isn't the best, she's merely female and in the name of political correctness, they think it's time for a female Dr. Maybe Superman will be next...

Political correctness is so mind-numbingly depressing, I'm lost for words. :?

Saw this on Facebook. Quite right!

Irvine Welsh, who wrote Trainspotting, said: “Anyone publicly objecting to a female Doctor Who should just buy a T-shirt emblazoned with ‘I’m a virgin who expects never to get laid’.”
Love that guy!

Talking of the new polymer £10 note, someone on the BBC News website has asked if the Queen can be a man this time. ;)

Totally agree.

For me, it matters not a jot what sex Dr Who is - the issue is the fact that the BBC is so obsessed with being PC that it just does what is perceived as right on and not what is right for the programme itself. Laughable.

What on earth is going so wrong with the people in this country? If we're not obsessing over an established and much loved sci-fi programme having a female actor instead of a male one, we're doing ridiculous things like this.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-40679075

There's clearly something wrong here.
