I'll have a look later Inny. Just watched Guns N Roses at London from a few weeks ago...and then moved on to watching them at the Freddie Tribute. Such power and energy they had....fucking awesome they were, but Axl could lose a few pounds!! ;)

I just watched Wembley 86 as it's been a while. I'm a Queen fan again :P , Freddie was simply fucking amazing, no, he was beyond amazing.

Just finished a book called To Kill The President. It starts with a scenario where an unstable US President who is a businessman and a reality TV star, is threatening a nuclear attack on North Korea. Sound familiar?

I had no clue such a book had been written. Hmmm.

By someone called Sam Bourne. Goodness knows how it got published as the similarities with the current President are very obvious. Not a particularly good read but interesting given the current political state of play.

As an aside, are people in the USA scared by his rhetoric?

I looked it up and saw the similarities. The way things are going in this country, it does not surprise me one bit that it was able to get published. There is no shame in anything, anymore. People are out of control. FFS, needing shelter from a bad word a word certain people will find offensive) to the extent they get excused from classes, get free psychiatric help and God knows what else. Probably free food. But if this had been done with Obama, God help them because half the country would have come down on their heads, literally.

So, I see a lot of people in fear of what Trump is doing about anything and everything and so much of what they talk about is so incorrect. They have all their peers in an uproar over a made up rumor, perpetuated by the good old media, of course.

Then we have this situation with N Korea. I, personally, don't like it and am staying away from most all politics and reading about it. What can you do, anyway? The government is going to do what it's going to do and some woman or some man, being upset about it won't do a damn thing except make that person sick with worry for something they have no control over. I am tired of being sick with worry.

Then there are the opposite people who are saying bring it on. Those people have all the confidence in the world for Trump and his administration. Personally, I don't think Kim Jong-un is serious but in a major bluffing match with the US. At least I hope he's not serious or we are about to find out if there is an afterlife or not. He's a damn fool if he is. Even China is now warning him to back down and to not start anything. He better watch out if he is serious because having the USA and China breathing down one's neck and their country and people has to be very dangerous for the people of N Korea.

So to answer you quickly, some support Trump and some don't.

I meant about the threat of possible nuclear conflict. Although I people are upset because they cannot use a certain word, which I guess starts with the 14th letter of the alphabet, then maybe nuclear war is a blessing.

What??? What are you talking about, the 14th letter? Why would people want to use that, anyway? Unless you mean some other word because the one I am thinking of isn't related to this at all.

Like I said, some are worried and some aren't.

40 years ago today, the news broke that Elvis had died. I remember my mum and her friend being very upset indeed. I was not really a fan but he wants one cracking tunes. My favourite song is An American Trilogy.

A true legend. My mum is the biggest Elvis fan around; it broke her heart when he died - and she really understood what I was going through years later when we lost Freddie.

American Trilogy is a stunning track. I am not the biggest Elvis fan, but as a music fan I have nothing but respect, admiration and fondness for a man who changed the world of music forever. He was one of those very rare singers who (like Freddie) could hold the attention of an audience completely - he was so full of true charisma and a mesmerising performer.
