This is true.

I cannot believe Trump has done this. I mean, I know he has made some rather blunt statements over the years, but this is just plain stupid. The majority of the American people must be feeling terribly embarrassed by his antics.

Sure, have your own views, but don't go having any connections to this kind of far right group. Silly, ignorant man.

I see Mrs May has condemned Trump's tweets but is still going ahead with the state visit.

She condemned his action, but the invitation is still standing, according to that link. Good on her for the condemnation, but I like when the other nations make it clear that Trump's bad actions have consequences.

Heh. Maybe she have that visit, but tell Trump they had to cancel this big military parade they were planning because his tweet was so impolitic. (He loves big military parades.)

... of course, then he'd just blame it on ISIS.

What the freakin' hell is wrong with Trump lately? Is he TRYING to out-stupid himself again and again?

Responding to a tweet accusing him of having of a pattern of attacking blacks with "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" (Seriously, he did that.)....

Calling Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" at an event honoring Native American veterans....

And now this, which I'm just learning about. I guess he had to top himself?

Even if you didn't like Obama, at least he wasn't doing crap like this.

It actually beggars belief, doesn't it? A man in this position of power acting like this. Now, I have always been rather apathetic towards Trump, but this has really turned my stomach. What a complete prat.

I can’t see it happening any time soon. Withdrawing an invitation would be a diplomatic nightmare, but in reality there’s no way Trump will agree to a visit when there’s a likelihood of mass protests.

Trump’s an idiot, but he’s a smart idiot - he did this for a reason. I don’t know why that reason is, but he often does outrageous things to generate headlines when he wants to divert attention away from something else. So he’s probably doing something far worse under the radar whilst this is dominating the headlines.

It’s worrying though, because by posting stuff like that he’s really doing ISIS’s job for them. Imagine if you’re a 16 year old Muslim kid, born in America, you’ve always considered yourself American, and now all of a sudden your president is posting stuff like this on Twitter. How easy do you think it would be to radicalise that kid now?
