Like him or not, Steve Jobs was one the greatest CEOs and innovators of our time. For a die-hard Mac user (since the Macintosh SE!), this is sad news indeed.

This is incredibly sad. Poor man, and his poor family.

From a very sad Elessar.

Not only was he a technological innovator, but he also influenced the design and style of technology across the board- how many gadgets and gizmos NOT made by Apple have those same clean lines and slick look, thanks to the appeal of the iPod and iPad? he was also able to influence cinema, with the new generation of animated films like Toy Story and Monsters, Inc; and was responsible for the revolution in modern music where downloads are taken more seriously than physical CD and album sales. A major cultural, business AND technological icon has gone, and left a mighty big hole to fill in his passing. May you rest in peace and find Nirvana, Steve- you will be sadly missed.

Steve Jobs was more innovative than most folks these days.To come away with the ideas that he has is phenominal.

He will be sadly missed.
I take only what is mine Lord, my pony, my squaw, and my child
I can't stay to see you die along with my tribe's pride
I go to search for the yellow moon and the fathers of our sons
Where the red sun sinks in the hills of gold and the healing waters run

A brilliant inventor, and innovator.

So many things a normal part of everyday culture these days, has his styling and vision incorporated into it.

People like this are a huge loss when they go, and also a reality check that it doesn't matter how much money you've got, you're mortal.
What is left of your dream?
Just the words on your stone.
A man who learnt how to teach,
But forgot how to learn.
