Many of you have probably heard of the "Save The Arctic" phenomenon that got a lot of media attention a couple of weeks ago. That's when the lovely Xena actress Lucy Lawless and six other Greenpeace activists climbed up a drilling ship to protest Shell's plans to try drilling for oil at the Arctic.

Masses of people wanted to express their opinion in solidarity, and after the 77-hour occupation Lucy said: "Seven of us climbed up that drillship to stop Arctic drilling, but 133,000 of us came down." I was one of those people who sent an e-mail to Shell, asking them to cancel this project that is extremely dangerous for the environment. But the protest isn't over yet, and the amount of people taking part in it has been growing bigger.

In case you'd like to join us, here's a link to a short introduction and a possibility to contact Shell (this one's for the UK but a lot of countries have their own).

Let's save the Arctic together! :-D
