So? Starting in prison does not automatically mean that it had a sexual connotation. But granted, the website does claim that it is false with no proof. But I have to admit it sounds silly that this was supposed to be a subtle way of communicating anal availability.

Sounds like a homophobic urban legend with racist undertones.

White people do it too.
Sometimes our tears blinded the love
We lost out dreams along the way
But I never thought you'd trade your soul to the fates
Never thought you'd leave me alone

I loved the books. Couldn't put them down. They weren't exactly well written, but enjoyable regardless. That being said, it's only hot because he's hellarich. If he were a middle class gent it would be a different story. ;)

I worked in a store that sold the first book when it came out. I read through it on slow days. It was mildly entertaining, but I didn't find it sexy at all. The guy's a creep, stalking her and all that. :P I read the first chapter of the second book and then lost interest.

I broke down and watched the movie recently. It was terrible.

Is the book really worth reading?

It is really all down to personal taste. If you like your 'erotica' full of cheesy dialogue and not written very well then this is the book for you. At the end of the day, each to their own: if there are women out there that actually found this sexy, etc. then good for them...

...but I would bet that they have not read much other decent erotica.

With you on this.
I read the first one, tried to get through the other 2 two books, but couldn't. What I did read, and I will say this as a voracious reader...ended up as some of the worst I've ever read.

I wanted to read it to see what the fuss was about. And I'm sorry I did.

What do you mean by "decent erotica"? As for me (the purebred Russian) erotica cannot be decent. Tell me, who has ever written decent erotic stories?

Yes, I think there are many out there who share your sentiments, Icy! :)

Erotica can be very decent - in the sense of well written, descriptive and...well...erotic. Just have a Google for the best erotica written.

Words have the power to do such things.
