Obviously, tabloids sell so there is a demand for their contents, but that's in very general terms. There isn't public demand for every load of drivel published, just because there is a general demand for celebrity related drivel.

It's not really the pictures that bother me. As stated before, I think it is quite interesting to see how people's faces change throughout the years. It's the way the paper insinuates how ugly those guys are nowadays and how pathetic that is. That also glorifies youth as the ideal of beauty. Yes, some of those guys are quite handsome men. Brian was really a good-looking chap. But, also stated earlier, most people have faces that tell stories. And that's not really a euphemism. I do think they look quite interesting. I wouldn't mind looking like that in thirty-something years.
