It's a shame you couldn't use your old topic, and just change the date like you used to do.

But there are already black holes out there and they aren't consuming our universe.

The good news is I`ll die a young 49 year old and not have to face being 50. Yeah! See you all upstairs where I`ll be in the line for tickets to the first Queen gig in heaven.

Not wanting to get involved in the arguments about this but just one minor point that my OCD just couldn't let me leave alone here...

If a black hole has consumed our universe and we are all therefore presumably dead, how will the unbelievers think about you (or anything)?

Or is that just a little too pedantic perhaps?

Yo action why not convert to Islam. There will be 40 virgins waiting for you in the afterlife. Assuming of course, there are 40 virgins who have sinned enough to spend all eternity in purgatory.

The 40 virgins thing.

Firstly, it doesn't specify that the virgins are female, nor does it specify that they are human. You'd think some things need clarifying down to crossing the eyes and dotting the tea's, before you atomise yourself, wouldn't you?

You can say about the Muslim's faith what you want, but the 40 virgins thing: It doesn't say many virgins, it doesn't say 10 or 3 or 7 (all those symbolic numbers, it says 40! 40 doesn't sound like an estimated guess. That sounds pretty solid. I believe it.

40 is a popular number in the ancient scripts. It rained for XX days and nights, etc etc.

As the recipient is in all probability, dead. So, it means in all probability, are his promised 40 virgins. You have to assume that not many women who survive past the age of, say, eleven, will then be unlucky enough to go on to die a virgin, and if they do, there's possibly good reason knocking about, why they did (eg, the camel stood outside the tent, stands a better chance of winning a Miss 'I look good wrapped in a black satin sheet' 2010 competition).

Little intricacies like this, are probably not explained to your average suicide bomber.

The Number Forty
The number forty has long been universally recognized as an important number, both on account of the frequency of its occurrence, and the uniformity of its association with a period of probation, trial, and chastisement—(not judgment, like the number 9, which stands in connection with the punishment of enemies, but the chastisement of sons, and of a covenant people). It is the product of 5 and 8, and points to the action of grace (5), leading to and ending in revival and renewal (8). This is certainly the case where Forty relates to a period of evident probation. But where it relates to enlarged dominion, or to renewed or extended rule, then it does so in virtue of its factors 4 and 10, and in harmony with their signification.
