I promise you many of us would try a vegan recipe if it looked tasty. We all want to eat healthier, at least most of the time.

I guess for you it wouldn't be enough to have someone gradually change over because of the yummy sounding meal (pictures are a bonus). It wouldn't be enough for them to avoid meat the majority of the time, or even part of the time. You're the kind it's all or nothing, apparently.

Or you can just keep banging people over the head and turning them off, if your bullying and sad pictures don't take advantage of those with complexes already.

you really don't know how to 'become your audience', do you?

If you split a pig's head with a horse, that would be more accurate.

Well said, I'm a vegetarian who is actually mostly vegan. I guess I don't qualify as I seldom eat eggs.

I think any change that you make, whether is one day a week or more, it's a positive one for the environment. No one can force upon you how much you should do and I thoroughly disagree with the vegan warriors I see everywhere... It seems nonsensical that people that are supposed to be so caring and respectful of the environment cannot replicate that in their relationship with others ... So much anger, so much negativity, such short life.

There are a ton of sites that I like going through for ideas, I am quoting some for you, to browse :)
http://ohsheglows.com
http://theveganzombie.com - their YouTube channel is simple enough but has easy recipes
http://www.allysonkramer.com
http://veganyumyum.com

Have fun experimenting and I would recommend that to start you up your pulse intake - think of that curry that you may really like and change the chicken for chickpeas :)

I likeyour way of thinking, Spirish!

I actually did sign up for emails from a vegan site a Toronto friend suggested on facebook. He gave me the link. He's not a vegan or vegetarian, purely. But he knows and tries to eat healthy as often as he can, so he sets a good example. I was sent a number of tasty looking recipes. Thank you for the links!

Fuck Joe Rogan and fuck you. I would break my veganism to eat both him and you, Hazelhurst. If you have children they would be the appetizer. Now go choke to death on a chicken leg, dimwit.

There's a scandal at the moment in the UK because the new £5 notes contain animal fat. Whichever way you look at it, that's pretty bad.

It's the tallow and is in ridiculously small amounts:

Huh. News to me. To anyone reading I'm going to be posting and promoting veganism here again but I promise not to do it in a judgmental way anymore. It's ineffective. It works with some people but it turns off way more. So hopefully nobody mocks me because I don't want my personality flaws to flare up and defeat my purpose. I say again. I do NOT think I'm better than you or anyone because I am vegan. I do believe it is the "right" thing to do for the planet but most of all for other sentient beings who pose no harm to humans.

And from what I've heard, it's being withdrawn from circulation and replaced with one that doesn't use animal tallow in the plastic polymers.

Such a stupid thing for the Bank of England to do in the first place. Did they really think no one would mind?

Yeah he's too judgmental but it's a powerful performance.
