This might be hardest of all for me. I will have to switch my protein powder brand to use one with no milk ingredients. I sometimes drink the powders when I don't feel well enough to eat.

Yea, it will definitely be the hardest for you.

I'm not doing it. I can't.

I don't think anyone is expecting you to do it. I wouldn't suggest it for you to do.
I can get my salt cravings nixed by popcorn, peanuts, lentils etc. I love salted and peppered bean salad. I crave that at times, so that might help me in giving up other things. My intake of food isn't the best, but I personally want to make changes, although for me it will not be done all at once by a long shot. Baby steps first.

icy, try a protein powder made from hemp. Link to Amazon for products. In the UK I buy a powder called Good Hemp Nutrition, which is very high in protein, and I use 60g of it per day, mixed with breakfast cereal. It also has Omega 3, 6 and 9, which is good for me because I don't need to take oils in order to get those- I have to avoid oils where I can for my special requirements. It tastes a bit like Halva (A mid-eastern sweet stuff), but you can get it in different flavours- mixing it with chocolate flavoured almond or soy milk makes a wonderful shake!

i rarely eat red meat, since that gives you colon cancer.

i eat chicken and turkey though (when it has a "bio" label), and lots of fish. for fish, i only eat wild sea fish, like wild salmon, pickeled herring etc. i avoid fish from aquaculture and river fish like the plague.
Why stand on a silent platform?

OK, I think I would go for one of the larger sizes of the powders, even to start of with, as I think I wouldn't fail that way. Not in my budget for this month though. ⏳

1st, is this a test to see if I am a real Queen fan? LOL. No, really, this feels like a trick question of a sort. :?

Anyway, yes, absolutely I would - I have tried. I don't love meat. It tastes ok to me but not great. If I could, there would be plates full of cauliflower and broccoli before there was a plate with beef on it.

I feel very unwell if I even eat vegetarian. Drowsy, sleepy, weak and do not think well at all, not to mention all the gut problems I get eating that way. It is veggie overload and then some for my body and way,way too much carbohydrate. Even just plain vegetarian doesn't work for me. Maybe 1 or 2 vegetarian meals per week and I am referring to actual meals, not the in between meal snacks such as peanut butter and crackers, etc. And I am already shorting myself, protein-wise as it is. I don't eat as much as I should because I can't afford that type of food, that often.

I eat one meal per day with approximately 2 oz of meat or fish and the rest is plant based proteins. If I skip that one meal with meat or fish, everything is thrown off.

Meal planned for tommorow evening, thanks again for the link.

You're very welcome. :) I plan on experimenting a bit once I can get to the grocery store.

I am a carnivore. I cannot live without meat.

Also screw anyone who thinks I'm giving up bacon! :)

:bitch: ..............I really have to try hard not to be rude to you because I know you are just being playful but to jump on my thread and give a big FU to something that means so much to me is kinda infuriating...but, again, I don't think you meant any ill will.

You can live without meat perfectly well....it's your choice. Hope that bacon slays you....Ha . Just playin' but, anyhoo,
you should be able to watch this video and feel just as strong...c'mon bud man up...
