How do a couple of atheists get married? Sign a bit of paper and stick it in the post?

Registry office! The only difference is no stained glass windows, no praying, no crucifixes, no ridiculous vows and no moral lecture from the priest. It doesn't even have to be a horrible boring council registry office, all sorts of nice buildings are registered for weddings.
I got married in a park, up on top of a hill with an overlook of a large river. Very pretty.

Yeah anywhere you like really. I plan on a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding, I doubt a church will allow that. :P

What the hell's wrong with you?!

I'm 8 days behind schedule. I was talking to some fellow pens-in-pockets-people about how if I want a wife and kids by the time I'm in my early 30s, I probably needed to meet my future wife that afternoon (last Wednesday), because you need a good year or so (probably more) to be sure you want to marry them, then as much as another year to plan the wedding, then a couple of years of marriage before you start having kids. This is further complicated by the fact that between the ages of 26 and 28 I'm going to have absolutely no time whatsoever to meet anyone, so I have to meet her either 2 years before I'm 26, or delay the whole process by 4 years. Hence the start-date of last week. I'm 8 days behind schedule. Need to sort this out.

:sly: Without a time machine I'm not sure you can fix that.

What's wrong with my wedding plan?! :P

It could be worse, I knew someone who had a Starwars themed wedding, on May 4th.

These people need to take a long hard look at themselves.
I, on the other hand, need to find a wife. Before I do that, I need to find a girlfriend. Before I do that, I need a good night's sleep. As that's already out of the question, a reasonable night's sleep will have to do. Night, folks.

Ooooh ooooh, but speaking of Star Wars, I'm likely to meet C3P0 at some point in the future, in a completely non Star Wars related context.

Oh come on now, not everyone wants a traditional wedding, if you don't, you might as well have fun with it, the marriage is the important part, you'd have to hope! Night!

So Belle believes in an invisible deity, yet you don't believe in a real person who posts on this site... Interesting irony :P

I've seen you. I watched from a short distance but didn't reveal myself :P

That could have been anyone, I might have just claimed it was me later. I'd certainly never be so embarrassing as to see you, look directly at you then wander off awkwardly rather than dare to say hello... :P
