If 99% of the Country voted to come out this Government would still say the Stay in vote won.

I misread the question and accidentally voted to leave. The UK needs to stay in Europe; Northern Ireland doubly needs to stay in Europe (what with the Republic being a fully fledged EU State). If the rest of the UK decides to leave, then Irish reunification becomes increasingly important. England (where I'm from, incidentally, so I'm not speaking as some frustrated Irish Republican with a chip on her shoulder) really needs to get out of its Island mentality and accept that it needs Europe to thrive.

If ever there was any doubt in my mind on which way to vote (and there isn't) then Obama has cemented it. He has completely fucked up with his intervention into 'our' referendum. He's done fuck all of note for 8 years and now we are supposed to listen to him?

That said, I have rarely witnessed such a brilliant mind at work. His ability to think on his feet during an interview is exceptional. Shame that he only got to be known by us all at the very end of his Presidency.

Clearly life was better before we joined the EU - we only had to work 3 days a week.

I think the Republicans had a hand in what was ultimately passed by Congress and implemented or not implemented by the Republican governors! Don't blame it on Obama!

Yea right. The Republicans created Obamacare. I very well remember him on TV saying the price would go up every year. He said it, not a Republican.

Obama would not have been able to say what he did without permission from the UK Government. More propaganda by the corrupt set of bastards. This has swayed me towards the leave side.

We joined in 1973 when it was still the EEC. We originally tried in the 1960s but de Gaulle blocked it because he saw it as a means for him to run Europe, and he considered UK membership a threat to that.
