Brian May and Ricky Gervais

This is the place for topical debate and discussion about anything in the world (non-Queen related).

While I find Gervais a hypocrite (non-vegan = cruelty and death of animals) I applaud any effort that reduces the suffering and death of other animals. Unless that suffering and death occurs to Elessar. Heyooooooh! :P

Nah, he is no hypocrite. You can defend animals and eat them. I do (and I have very strong convictions).

I respectfully disagree. Still, any efforts made on the behalf of animals is great whether it be by vegan or carnist.

Yes, let's respectfully disagree. Hand on heart, I can see what you mean as a vegan and I admire your conviction; but I just differ from you in that respect.

And, as you so rightly state, any efforts made on behalf of animals is a good thing. We need more people like this out there - more people that give a shit and care enough about those without a voice.

Here's wishing death to all those cunts who hurt animals for no other reason than they can (they are inhuman if they cannot feel anything when watching something suffer; therefore they do not deserve to live, imho).
