UK - Living On A Thin Line

Theresa May. She is the Trump of the UK.

Some people want the UK out of the EU. But what about the values, the hope, the united Europe?

If she wins, it will definitely be the end of the Western civilization as we know it. She is the final nail in the coffin for Europe. Europe will be vulnerable against influences of other regimes. China will take over. We can no longer stand proud, united against cruelty in Europe. What about animal welfare and equality, all the rights that people fought for... suddenly not important for our selfish, lazy generation ?

No moral, no values left to fight for, an easy target. This is much more serious than just an election of a leader of the UK, it is an election where we choose if we will surrender to cruelty, and destroy the World for future generations. I hope you people in the UK use your brain when you choose your leader, because it will have consequences for Europe and the World. How can we fight for freedom with leaders like her and Trump? Soon people will be ashamed to come from Europe, people will turn their back to the UK, like the do with the USA today. Please think before you vote, get educated, read, learn from the history or else we are bound to repeat it!

phpBB [video]

In the end, the people get the leaders they deserve.. no moral left among people means they elect leaders with no moral too.. that is what is happening. History is repeating itself, unless you prevent it by voting different.

All the stories have been told
Of kings and days of old,
But there's no England now.
All the wars that were won and lost,
Somehow don't seem to matter very much anymore.
All the lies we were told,
All the lies of the people running round,
They're castles have burned.
I see change,
But inside we're the same as we ever were.

Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?

Living on a thin line,
Living this way, each day is a dream.
What am I, what are we supposed to do?
Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?

Now another century nearly gone,
What are we gonna leave for the young?
What we couldn't do, what we wouldn't do,
It's a crime, but does it matter?
Does it matter much, does it matter much to you?
Does it ever really matter?
Yes, it really, really matters.

Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?

Now another leader says:
"Break their hearts and break some heads".
Is there nothing we can say or do?
Blame the future on the past,
Always lost in bloody guts.
And when they're gone, it's me and you.

Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
Living on a thin line.

Although I respect your concern for humanity, to ask that the British electorate educate themselves, learn from history, etc. is a wee bit patronising. You just have to accept that people disagree with you - not because they need to educate themselves but because they simply feel differently to you.

Same with those who bang on about Brexit. Some did not like it so put those who voted for it down. Not on. The majority of those who voted in the UK voted for Brexit (thank heavens) for good reason. And are you really saying that we were closer together all in the EU? Seriously?

As for Theresa May? She looks like she is trying to do the best for Britain - which will be good enough for most of us. The only reason she will now not be getting my vote is because of her stance on fox hunting: before that, I would have voted for her in a second (what's the alternative in the UK? Corbyn? I think not).

Although I applaud Brian's stance on fox hunting, etc. I would like to know what alternative the British people have to Mrs May. Corbyn? He could not be trusted and does not care a jot about the safety of UK citizens.

Face it, people, we will all be moving more and more right. The Left is dead.

I think the safety of the world will be a lot more insecure if anybody BUT Theresa May wins this coming election.

The U.K. IS coming out of the EU, whoever wins the election. It's just that if it happens to be the current Labour Party at the controls, I really don't think they're prepared for it, especially with those two clowns Abbott and McDonnell behind Corbyn pulling the strings.

I am getting shed loads of crap elsewhere because I dare to criticise Corbyn. His supporters really cannot see what a liability he is to the Labour Party.

Is Mrs May really trying to outdo Corbyn as incompetent and clueless?

Because I wouldn't be able to say this as effectively in my own words as Dr. Bri has done!

True.

I used to be a staunch Labour supporter, but Corbyn has dragged this party so far down that they have now become unelectable; this is obviously not a good thing, as May needs strong opposition to keep her in her place a bit.

Corbyn comes across as a nice man with genuine morals, etc. But a leader of the UK? No. And he really is selfish if he continues in his position after Labour loses the election - think about the Labour Party and just do the right thing and leave.

It wouldn't surprise me if a new Labour party is formed after the election. Especially if he stays on as leader. The thing is, his supporters think he is some kind of Messiah about to save the country. Then again, many people thought that of Tony Blair 2 years ago. And At Maggie twenty years prior to that.

He's NOT the Messiah, he's a VERY naughty boy!
