I'm right, you're wrong. think about how wrong you are, and keep working on yourself (like we all do) to become a little better every time

If I said something like that, the usual suspects would go bananas.

100% agree that kids shouldn’t wear them.

They also shouldn’t do Holy Communion or confession or any of the other retarded Catholic things I did as a kid.

Imagine that lot coming out at you, from a badly lit Mosque on a dark night.

Scarier than ANY Michael Jackson video.
What is left of your dream?
Just the words on your stone.
A man who learnt how to teach,
But forgot how to learn.

Of course, Jackson got his kids to wear the equivalent of burkhas to protect their privacy so that when they were at school or whatever, they wouldn’t be recognised. Now adults, they’ve never criticised him for that policy.

If you want to sprawl yourself on a beach in a bikini, do that in a country where it is socially acceptable, eg a western country and not Saudi Arabia for example

its simple, when in Rome

this does not mean I am racist, Nazi, whatever you think.
I just prefer talking to people when I can see their full facial expression

Using the picture of Princess Di - really - that's scraping the bottom of the barrel to try and prove a point, for which you was put down correctly.

I got bored of hearing the opinions of white men so I spoke to a female Muslim friend. Ignore the chat about The Notebook. Muslim girls watch chick flicks too.

two points of advice:
- stop having philosophical discussions with women unless she's your mum
- get a room!

Do you want them to adopt the lifestyle and culture of the host country? If you do, then you agree with most of us. If you don't want them adopt the lifestyle and culture of their host, what was the point of your question?

I guess the point is that if we want to go to the Costa Del Brit and speak English and eat fish and chips, we shouldn’t feel too aggrieved if people who move to the UK don’t completely abandon their culture.

Of course, culture has very little to do with the piece of earth people happen to be living on. The land that we call England wasn’t ‘English’ for billions of years and it won’t be English after we’ve pissed off.

Simple. If peoe here want those who come here to do as we do then we should do the same if we live abroad. Of course neither happens.

It must be me. The question seemed so simple, it just asked you what you thought.

Do you think that the Brits abroad should adopt the culture of the host country, yes or no? If yes, you agree with 'us', if no, what was the point of your question?
