This was not the first time the booster rockets have returned. They have tested that procedure several times last year which is a pretty remarkable feat. My daughter and family live 50 miles west of Kennedy Space Center and can watch these launches from their driveway.
Also remarkable is that Bowie’s Life On Mars is playing on a loop while the red roadster orbits the earth!
