Wow, seeing the Nazi-salute on here is shocking to me. Especially if it was indeed done and shone on American TV. In Germany it’s forbidden, because it’s the „Hitler-Gruß“, the salute to one person and his allies. Every teenager here learns about that and it’s history in school -and some schools teach it as early as grade 4. Maybe some people should take some history-lessons in the US as well... Absolutely shocking.
And maybe this will tell you, what happens, when you do that salute in front of the Reichstag inBerlin. And no, it’s not a joke.

I'm glad that Kyle Kashuv gave his perspective on the gun issue. I think he's right that the best answer will come from both sides (his and and, for a better term, David Hogg's) debating things and coming to a consensus.

The problem is that Emma Gonzalez and David Hogg's perspective has been summarily dismissed for the last twenty years. Now it's getting attention, and wielding some power.

All of this is ultimately good. Something needs to change so that our children are not hunted in their schools, or worshippers gunned down in churches, mosques, or synagogues, and people can attend concerts and clubs without fear of being shot. Maybe that's more gun control. Maybe it's something else. Maybe it's a combination.

But we'll never know until we really start talking about it. And we'll never really start talking about it until we stop flinging insults at each other.

If you think that Hogg has single handedly "destoryed Ingraham's advertisers, you discredit the intelligence of the advertiser company owners (who make those decisions) who actually can make up their own minds about such matters.

The blame belongs on Ingraham and Fox. David Hogg merely brought the connections to light.

People should realise that there’s a difference between censorship and deplatforming.

Laura Ingraham has the right to free speech, as does David Hogg. Neither of them have the right to a ready and willing audience. Both of them enjoy a far larger audience than the majority of people. After Ingraham’s offensive comments, the public (of their own volition) reacted in such a way that her sponsors felt they needed to distance themselves from her vitriol. It’s as simple as that. She’s still welcome to her right to free speech. She just won’t make as much money from it as she used to. Meanwhile, most of us have never made a single penny from our right to free speech.
