A 13 page thread where everyone involved pretty much never said anything but what they said; which was not that.

Today’s London Pride march was hijacked by anti-trans activists, and they were allowed to continue in the interests of safety.

http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2018/07/07/an ... er-hijack/

They appear to have been handing out leaflets accusing transsexuals of being sex offenders (where’ve we seen that before...?), but I haven’t seen any actual photographic evidence yet.

25% of women have been sexually assaulted.

Sorry - they only sampled Nottingham, not the entire population.

Modern feminists reject her.

Plus, there’s nothing to ‘agree’ or ‘disagree’ with. The story was a fact.

I see. today I have learned, there is a thing as a "modern feminist"

so much for the argument "but a feminists is for women's rights, aren't you?". there are different kinds of feminists now, ok thanks for clearing that up. That opens up some perspectives.

this woman is an "ancient feminist" then or something. an inferior version of feminism, until the modern one came about.

It's not enough anymore to be a "feminist", no, you need to subscribe to the modern interpretation.

being a feminist is not enough! you'd risk major backlash! be a modern feminist

I think this is what mp was talking about all along, with his feminazis thread. thanks for giving backing as to mp's view that feminists today are more extreme than in old times.

I think the last clause of your paragraph says a lot: '...maybe we have different ideas of what is racism'. None of you (you, JLP, Elly) seem to be able to accept an experience which differs from your own; you have to either tell me I am lying or - in your case - qualify your response by suggesting that maybe I have a different idea of racism than yourself...which is a bit of a sly dig.

Why can't any of you accept that people have different experiences in life? Surely, being Left-leaning types you should all be for acceptance (which includes accepting people have different views and different life experiences).

I didn't really mean that as a "sly dig," I was just saying some people think certain things are racist and some people don't. Maybe it isn't always unambiguous, maybe we have different perspectives. Haven't you yourself talked about how you think some people ("lefties" I think you usually call them) see racism when you don't think it's there? I wouldn't be at all surprised if I could find a couple things that happened in your life that you didn't think were examples of racism but I would.

Fair enough.

I'm all for calling out racism; I'm just not one for throwing accusations around just because someone has a different point of view to me. So if someone is racist I would have nothing to do with them...but, on the other hand, if someone is a little non-PC then I could not give less of a fuck.

Tell you what, why don't you show us all where we have seen that viewpoint before? Because I take it you mean on this website (which is why 'we' have seen 'it' before); so, out of curiosity, who has stated on this website that transsexuals are sex offenders? A direct quote would clarify things.

Shit, I must have missed where they stated that. I read that sexual assault was only a part of this survey (of about only 500 people? I could be wrong, so please correct me if so).

I could not take all of it seriously (awaits yet another accusation), as I am sure I read on there that wolf whistling is now a hate crime.

Christ, don't even bother trying to work that lot out. If they are not attacking men for...well...being men...they are attacking their own sisters. One simply cannot take them seriously; they are good for a laugh though (although what is not funny is the damage they do to the cause and to all those truly brave women who stood up to be counted back in the day)…

...just let 'em tear themselves to shreds.
