Heh, are all your rednecks worried he must be a terrorist as he wants to get rid of our nuclear weapons? :P

I know, it's sad really because Romania is one of those unfathomably old countries (and people), but seem to have been permanently invaded throughout that time. Now they're independent the Government is rich but the people are still really poor. Not unlike America in that sense I suppose, but without the history, you sort of can't help thinking a population that have been int he same place for thousands of years should be able to live reasonably comfortably there by now.

I know, it's odd when you say he can't take too many drastic steps, like needing to make the healthcare bill such a tentative step towards some form of welfare, because if he does they'll kill him...you don't mean it as a euphemism. Why is it always the good ones that get assassinated?

I am now mildly scared. Gordon Brown seems convinced the result of the election will be a Conservative Government with a Liberal Democrat coalition...that's encouraging.

That's just a scare tactic. Brown says "Vote Lib Dem, get Conservative"; Cameron says "Vote Lib Dem, get Labour".

Nick says "Vote Lib Dem, get Lib Dem". He's the voice of logic. Whoever the Lib Dems form a coalition with, their policies will bleed through one way or another, which is better than a majority government of either of the other two.

Drink some water and gnaw on some wheat grass. It'll fix you right up.

Well that was even more mind-numbing than usual, but I'm off again. Back in mid-June, or next time I want to take on fatuousness...

I feel like my brain is leaking out of my ears.

I have to take my Guinea Pigs to the vet tomorrow, I might not bother, I've owned 27 in my lifetime I must now know everything there is to know about them.

27? What have you been doing to them?

I know they're called guinea pigs, but I hope you haven't been taking the name literally...! (if nothing else, it would be a waste, as no one cares about controlled experiments)

This is driving me to drink. I should be working, not getting stressed out by zealotism.
