Right, screw this shit - back to work.

See you all in 40 days....fuck, that's scarily soon. 40 days of suffering before something even worse - now I know how Jesus felt.

...That might be the most ignorant and frustrating thing I have ever read, ever. Three guesses.

A bit of light relief. I recommend listening to it in full...

People used to say I act like Ricky Gervais in terms of comedy - turns out I also agree with him on matters of science and logic as well!

I really don't like Ricky Gervais. Like I don't find him funny, no personal views on him! Karl is hilarious, but Gervais incredibly loud and brash and overwhelming shouting over the top of him, shut up would ya! :P

Nice of you to join me.

I heard the best argument I've ever heard in favour of creationism a week ago. One week on and I still can't think of an argument against it that isn't just me bullshitting my way out of an awkward question!

What was it?

Dee, in response to the apologetic thing, I don't agree with that description. What does it mean? Like apologist? If so, it's wrong, it's not a description it's an opinion, you'd already have to be anti-theist to call it that, in which case I'd be calling TGD an apologetic, which I don't suppose many atheists would like.

In terms of books having evidence...well TGD doesn't have any of that either, it's all just opinion, against religion, whereas TDD is just opinion, in favour of religion. It's not about God, it's about Christianity and religion in general.

The things that God did on each of the six days of Creation are the same as the order they actually happened in.
What are the chances of the writer having got that right by chance?

Okay, so obviously the Earth had to be made first. That goes without saying. But fish before mammals? Mammals before humans? Is it really THAT obvious that it happened in that order, if you don't have an understand of evolution?

It is, isn't it? I'm still unable to come up with a good response.
Okay, so obviously it didn't happen in 7 days, but the argument that 7 days is metaphorical isn't atcually that bullshitty, because we've always known that a day is the time it takes for one complete day/night cycle (even if we don't know it's the sun rotating), so with no earth there were no days, so obviously the concept of a 'day' would have been arbitrary before the earth was around!

Although it has to be said all of the arguments for creation are pretty unbreakable.

God did it, how do you know, it says so in the Bible, how do you know the Bible is the truth, God did it.

WIN. :P
