Could have done without the DVD filming tonight though, the camera guys didn't seem to want to zoom so they just got right in everyone's face.

Really, you saw Spike and Jimmy Page? :o I'm jealous. :-P Somebody that commented on the videos from the RAH that I've uploaded said that they'd been to a meet and greet before the gig with their VIP ticket, but said that they only spoke to him for a minute or so and just had one photo with him.

Yeah! Only Jimmy Page was from really far away. :P Yeah he kinda ran off during the meet and greet, he now seems to only meet fans who get VIP passes, and even then, for the shortest possible amount of time, it's weird, me and Danielle met him a few times during his last solo tour and it took no effort whatsoever, we just went to the stage door and he came out and chatted for ages. Then from like 2009 onwards he's seemed to have some sort of fan allergy.

That does seem a bit strange... :? Hopefully it might wear off a bit before the next tour, I'd love to meet him. :) What time did you get to the venue in Birmingham?

Erm, about twenty passed eight. We walked in and had to go all the way to the front with a steward with a torch, with the Down&Outs just finishing up, blatantly knowing we'd missed their set. :P

I'm a bit worried about how enthusiastic I'm getting about the possibility that Harry and Pippa are going to disappear from the reception at some point this evening.

I don't think I could care less about the royal family if I put effort into not caring.

That's just because you're officially banned from being part of it :P

Then again, I guess I probably technically am as well.

 To be fair I'm not violently opposed to royalists, I'm just very much not one, I feel their only asset now is tourist attraction and I don't actually think they need to be there for that to work. Good for them, family wedding, absolutely fine, but I don't really care who the future king/Queen is, we have a Government, I spend enough time hating them, I don't need to form an opinion on the royal family who are of no relevance too. :P

Yeah but we could keep the buildings without the actual family, also the idea of asking the Queen permission to form a Government is rubbish, we have a Government instead of being ruled by a Monarchy.

Hard to define really, but it sort of started with the Magna Carter, so that's going back a bit, 1215...? :P But really we've been gradually handing over power since then, so at some point the natural progression of England is to lose the Monarchy completely. I don't mind them, but we don't need them, even for Englishness sake.

The flash of pink in the bottom right corner throughout most of that is me. :P

I didn't realise that they'd be any footage from that angle, although I did see two people in the choir seats, who I suppose must have filmed this. I can definitely see you! Can't really see me and Mum though, it doesn't really zoom in far enough. :-(

He's so posh I sometimes find I'm not listening to what he's saying, just listening to him speak. In Russian history we came across a line which seemed to suggest our monarchy are distantly responsible for the Bolshevik uprising in Russia, because of the Haemophilia gene. Weird.
