2 days into the 1st Ashes test and England really up against it, started well enough bowling out the Aussies for 270 odd, but then got skittled themselves for just 136 :?

Battered, thats what England were yesterday, beaten in every division, and now needing 537 with just 8 wkts left the task is almost impossible :(

Only Broad can say he played his part for England, everyone else was way below par, and must do a lot better in Adelaide, and shut the big gobs of the Aussies, especially tossers like Warner & Clarke.

Aussies about 270 / 5 , England let themselves down a bit by dropping 3 fairly comfortable catchers , they have to stick if we're to win.

Mitch Johnson ripped the hell out of our middle & lower order last night, fantastic pace bowling, but the Aussies have been better in every department. It looks like they will declare with a 600 lead, then they'll have about 5 sessions to bowl us out, which shouldn't be a problem :(

3rd test, 1st day and England had the Aussies on the ropes at 143/5, then let them get a foothold and now they have the upper hand, this is very frustrating.

FINISH - Australia 5-0 England

I've been watching cricket for more than 40 years, and seen some pretty dismal displays over the years, but can't remember one that was as dire as this winters performance over there, absolutely battered by a very average Aussie team.

Pietersens International Career Ends.

Kevin Pietersen's England career is over after he was told he is no longer in their plans, ECB managing director Paul Downton said: "The time is right to rebuild not only the team but also the team ethic."

Pietersen said: "I will continue to play but deeply regret that it won't be for England."

Well done to Joe Root and James Anderson who shared a world-record 10th-wicket partnership(198) for England against India.

The Aussies are furious over here! I'm glad England won because I have no interest in cricket, and now the Aussies will just leave me alone about it, whereas if they had won they'd probably have insisted on talking about it and any opposition from me would be seen as sour grapes!
