Definitely the most bland Aussie bowling attack, I suppose at least we don't have Hauritz anymore. We've still ripped through England in under a day. Still think it'll be a good series, but England definitely wont be holding that little urn at the end.

Very happy of course.

Though it is a bit concerning just far the Aussies have fallen. With Pakistan playing in New Zealand they could go lower than the ranking of 5. World cricket needs a strong Australia.

It has also been pointed out to me (by a no good Birmingham shity supporter) that the last time England won the Ashes, in Australia, Aston Villa were relegated.

True but it also needs a strong England. I did not have to be at work until 11 on friday so stayed up and watched the win, the interviews and the celebrations. It was good to watch it live.

Scarily though I have been with the woman I love since 1987 which was when we last won in Australia. Hope that isn't a bloody omen.

Lol or it could mean that you are going to be parents or grandparents???

I think Villa will stay up. They need to keep hold of the likes of Ashley Young.

This week has had it all in the world cup as an England supporter.
A draw against India.
A loss against the Irish??????
A win against the South Africans.

I don't know about all the the other games, at least England's games have been dramatic to say the least.
