OK many people find cricket boring but I almost wish I was back on nights so I could sit up on my nights off to watch the action live.

I actually believe England will beat the Aussies this time around for the first time, in Australia, since 1987.

You always were an optimist!

Must say, over the summer I caught a couple of 20 20 matches and thought they were great to watch - they had to go for the runs rather than play safe, so the game got very exciting.

Looking forward to the tests, and a England win 3-1 ;) The Aussie team is the worst i've ever seen, i've even heard they're begging Shane Warne to come out of retirement and play  at 41  even the reliable Ponting is struggling for runs. Come on boys, up and at 'em.
BTW highlights will be shown on ITV4 at 10pm each evening.

Its gonna be a great competition. Whilst i'll be rooting for England i fully expect the Aussies to take it up to England. I think i will wait for after day 1 at the Gabba on Thursday before i make a comment on who will win.

Poor decision to bat first. I would have exposed the Aussies (who are all struggling) to the swinging green top that is this Gabba pitch. I think Cook and Bell are looking solid so far.

Hehehehe, go the Aussies!

Definitely the most bland Aussie bowling attack, I suppose at least we don't have Hauritz anymore. We've still ripped through England in under a day. Still think it'll be a good series, but England definitely wont be holding that little urn at the end.

The Aussies bowled well to be honest, great hat-trick by Siddell, we were lucky to get 260.

Thank god for Bell. A very much improved batsman.

England need early wickets tomorrow. At this stage i have the Aussies slightly ahead. But a quick wicket will turn the game again. All in all, today was tense, which is how test cricket should be.
