Champions League Final in 2013 to be held at Wembley to mark the FA's 150th anniversary. If they were gonna do that, why have the Final there this year? Shocking that it will have two Finals in three years.

Written like a script, the first game of the season for Sunderland will be a trip to Liverpool and Jordan Henderson. First game at the Stadium of Light this season...Newcastle, things just got interesting.

I think we should have a predictions section, to enable the "I told you so" posts that make March + April so much more exciting for small clubs.

Winners of all 4 leagues, both cups, EL, CL, etc, top scorer, first mgr sacked, and a couple of open categories

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper David de Gea from Atletico Madrid on a five-year deal.
The Spain Under-21 international, 20, underwent a medical at Old Trafford on Monday and will finalise what is thought to be an £18.9m move on Friday.

Its a lot of money for a youngster, but he looks very good and we definitely need a top rated keeper.

The BBC wanted to illustrate the scale of some job losses, so that everyone would know what a crowd of 45,000 unemployed looked like.

So they used a picture of Anfield on a match day.

Nice to see the BBC settling in to their new surroundings...!

They used a full Anfield crowd to explain how many Lloyds TSB staff have lost their jobs recently.
