Was your son watching the game with you?, if you don't mind my asking.

he was.

That makes it all the better....it truly does IMO.
I'm hoping to move back east in the next year or so, one of the first things I will do is hopefully see games of my local team with my parents. *fingers crossed* I miss the game, which is why I stick my nose in these threads from time to time.

congratulations. I know what it feels. I was 12 when I was at the stadium, standing up all the time and singing throughout the whole game to see my local team go up to the 1st division. This season we won 2-0 to Atletico Madrid's b team in Europa League and it felt like a season's victory. Bad year since then, but we are just below half of the table. What a relief :)

Feel sorry for Wolves. Dropped a division last year, and stone the crows if they aren't repeating the feat again.

£55 for a friendly?

How much are Real Madrid being paid to play this game or is it exploitation?

Probably not. Our fans would still find something about him to moan about...

Yep. Went more in hope than expectation. Actually had tears in my eyes at the end. Never thought I'd see us beat one of the Old Firm, never mind in their own stadium! Nights like last night make supporting a diddy team worthwhile!
