I feel so nervous. If we win, I cannot celebrate too much as I am a day shift tomorrow. If it turns out to be the play offs, I am working both nights when the away leg is, the home leg might be on the night of my wedding anniversary and, just to put the cherry on the cake, I am a day shift on the day of the Wembley final.
Come on you Tigers.

What an afternoon. from elation to despair and back to elation. You really could not make this up. But we are back in the Premier League again.

What a game that was. It looked like luck was against you when you missed that pen, then Maynard slotted one home for us at the other end seconds later, but Watford's rotten luck in losing 2 goalkeepers within half an hour was their downfall in the end.

Amazing end to the season, made that little bit better by not having to worry about Cardiff's result

I still think Watford will go up though, can't see Leicester being much of a problem for them, and then Brighton or Palace in the final. Zola's got a good team, he should do the business.

I was going mental watching it on TV, so God knows what it must have been like for the fans in the ground. Celebrated when Hull went 2-1 up, head in hands when they missed the penalty then Cardiff scored, and back to celebrating when Leeds took the lead at Watford. That was why so many people love football.

C'mon JLP. You know they're only doing it to stress you out.

You'll soon be playing Notts Forest and Sheffield Tuesday again, no worries!

In that grey land between being too good for the Championship, but not quite good enough for the Premiership.

Feel sorry for Wolves. Dropped a division last year, and stone the crows if they aren't repeating the feat again.

Premiership to Division One in 46 easy moves.

I have just watched The Football League Show and Late Kick Off to relive the drama of May 4th 2013.

I am not ashamed to say i shed a few tears when our promotion was confirmed. The thing that made the whole day amazing was the sheer drama of the last few minutes. When we got the penalty, we all wondered who would take it. Robbie Brady had gone off so it was left to our German striker and we all know, german players always score penalties. Sadly Nick Prowstwitch missed and then Cardiff got a dodgy penalty and Nicky Maynard scored to leave us all on the edge.

We were standing around waiting for the Watford game to finish. i was convinced that Watf9ord would score as they knew exactly what they had to do because of the delay due to the injury to their keeper.

i needed to pee so went to the toilet and as I was stood doing the business, an almighty roar went up. I could hardly celebrate mid stream for f*cks sake could I?

It was amazing, the drama of that. I always wondered what it would be like to be there at the very death. To be there at a moment like when Michael Thomas scored to clinch a league win for Arsenal, To be ther when Jimmy Glass scores to keep Carlisle in the Football League. To be there when Aguero scores that goal to win the premier league.

I now know and it a feeling like nothing else I have experienced. that is why I am a football fan. that is why i support Hull City, my home town club.
Come on you Tigers.

Great post, it's something you never will forget JLP. I'm happy for you and team, even from afar I get the emotion from something like that.
Was your son watching the game with you?, if you don't mind my asking.
